Dr Stephens is Senior Group Leader at the Babraham Institute, Cambridge, UK. He received a BSc and a PhD from the University of Birmingham, and joined the Babraham Institute following post-doctoral training at SK&F Research Ltd. He is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society.
With Dr Phillip Hawkins, Dr Stephens leads a team at the Babraham Institute. Together they have made world-leading contributions to the understanding of PI3-Kinases and neutrophils for over 20 years. Some of their recent work has focused on understanding the role of the p110β and p110δ isoforms in inflammatory responses.
